As Outstanding Individual FST award winner 2010, Wil was invited to be on the judging panel for the FST Awards 2012.
With the 2012 shortlist announced, Wil presented an award at the prestigious FSTech awards gala dinner on the 28th March 2012 at the Lancaster London Hotel, Bayswater. The event was attended by over four hundred industry professionals.

Wil chaired a Mobile Banking FSTech roundtable on 3rd April 2012 in London.
The discussion addressed issues including whether or not 2012 would be a landmark year for mobile banking, and why many banks had held back? How could banks fully utilise the potential of mobile as a channel for marketing, sales and customer service? What would the future hold for mobile banking?

Wil attended the Data Centre Strategy Forum on 7th March 2012, where he discussed the importance of getting every piece of the puzzle in place to successfully challenge data centre waste in the financial market.
On the 10th November Wil attended the 12th Annual Banking Technology Awards as a guest of the editorial team.

Wil was a speaker on 1st November at the Technology and Financial Services Reform Conference 2011.
At the event he discussed the best practice approaches on how to plan and execute vast cross-divisional Integrations and major implementations in the context of the imminent banking 'ring fencing'. -
